What is Yoga?


“Yoga is the calming of the thoughts. It is the cessation of the fluctuations of consciousness.” (Yoga sutras of Patanjali, Chapter One, Verse One).

‘Yoga’ is derived through the Sanskrit word of ‘union’ and represents the union of the individual soul with the universal soul and of the body with the mind. The Indian sage Patanjali is believed to have collated the practice of yoga into the Yoga Sutra and estimated 2,000 years ago. His Yoga Sutras serve as a guide for yoga that is practiced today. Outlining the eight limbs of yoga: Yamas (restraints), Niyamas (observances), Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing), Pratyahara (withdrawal of senses), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation), & Samadhi (liberation).

Personal training insistence give privacy and comfort, at a time and place, suited your schedule. It focuses on your individual need, at your own pace with gentle hands-on instruction.

Group Class


Share the Yoga experience in the company of close friends, family or colleagues. Learn the basic fundamentals of yoga postures and discover how breathing connects body, mind and spirit to this unique small group yoga session. Classes are designed according to group experience and comfort level. Our instructor will guide you through this class, so you will able to develop a strong foundation for a lasting and beneficial yoga experience.

It is important that you notify our management and your therapist if you are Pregnant, have High Blood Pressure, Allergies or any other medical complaint or conditions so that the appropriate treatments are recommended and any other precautions can be taken. All treatments are taken at your own risk.

  • Please enjoy our relaxing environment and allow others to do likewise by talking quietly and respecting the privacy of others. Please put hand phones/pagers on the silent mode.
  • This is a No Smoking environment in accordance with the Singapore Law.
  • We advise you not to wear jewellery and /or valuable during your visit as they may need to be removed for the treatment. The Management accepts no responsibility for the loss of money or valuables of any kind brought to the centre.
